Porto Mariccio is a new development, to be built on the west coast of Istria, Croatia. Consisting of a five star 250-room Kempinski-run hotel, 300 apartments, a 350-berth marina, and a Jack Nicklaus golf course lined by luxury villas designed by Milieu Architects. This is an ambitious investment of eur 207.6 million.
The main masterplanning task for Milieu was to rework original architects’ concept in order to maximize the sea views. This was achieved through dramatic changes and thorough studies of sites’ topography. Milieu architects are proud their final proposal managed to improve initial scheme by around 40%.
