Refurbishment of 60’s shopping mall in the town centre of Levice involves stripping it down to framework and opening up the central part to improve circulation. Original shopping mall consisted of network of narrow dark corridors without clear circulation. According to our proposal Central part has to be demolished and replaced by glazed roof atrium with organic hub with lifts, escalators and food & beverage area. Shop fronts open up to this central area and can be clearly seen by all shoppers.

Mature trees had to give way to shopping centre in 60’s. Planting mature trees in front of the main facade was not allowed thus we expressed ‘spirits’ of original trees in form of glass print.
